After a string of postponements spanning most of February and the entirety of March, Predators found themselves with a rare midweek fixture at Lancing Rangers Select’s Sompting pitch.
First Half
Predators started with the strong wind at their backs and used it to their advantage, taking an early lead with a goal from close range by Curtis.
Kenzie scored his debut goal from the right wing to make it 2-0 and then Alex chipped in with an unstoppable shot from the left.
There was time for Ben to open his scoring account just before half time to put Predators 4-0 up at half time.

Second Half
Manager Steve had a large squad to choose from so he tweaked the team during the second half, giving all the boys some much-needed match play.
The second half was much tighter than the first, with Lancing pressing forward and forcing some outstanding saves from Ryan. The Predators defence was holding firm, and having absorbed pressure from the home team they finally extended their lead, carving out a chance for Josh to slot the ball away.
There was time for a sixth goal before the end, this time it was Harley on the scoresheet, leaping to poke the ball home, to make it six goals and six different scorers.
